More than 200 citizens, community and political leaders, and arts leaders came together Dec. 6, 2008, to talk about creating a strategy to promote and fund arts and culture in the region.

An art display by Art Aware, which featured works by Philadelphia-area elementary school children, and puppets from Spriral Q Puppet Theater brought the arts and culture theme to life at the event.

Members of the Point Breeze Jazz Ensemble entertained the crowd as they awaited the speakers.
