The Great Expectations team includes:

Project leader Chris Satullo of The Philadelphia Inquirer

Chris writes "Center Square," a column that appears twice a week in The Philadelphia Inquirer. He is the former editor of The Inquirer's editorial board and lead writer of the Citizens Agenda for Philadelphia's Future. He has long pushed to get a full array of citizens' voices and viewpoints into the pages of the newspaper.

Project leader Harris Sokoloff of the Penn Project for Civic Engagement

Harris is an adjuct associate professor in the graduate school of education at the University of Pennsylvania. He also is the director of the Center for School Study Councils. He uses his expertise in civic engagement and negotiations to lead the Great Expectations moderatoring team.

Online producer Jodie Chester Lowe

Jodie manages Web content and copy editing for the Great Expectations project. After spending eight years with The Philadelphia Inquirer, as assistant metro copy chief and then as a member of the Editorial Board, she worked as the assistant entertainment producer for Philly.com.

Project manager Linda Breitstein

Linda has worked around the world, for CBS “60 Minutes” in Paris, as a special-education teacher in Israel, and as a fund-raiser for a cancer research hospital in Boston. She is a project manager for Great Expectations under the Penn Project for Civic Engagement. She believes everyone’s voice should be heard.
